Ownership Program offers eligible families and individuals
the opportunity to own a newly constructed or newly
renovated affordable home in Franklin County and the
North Quabbin area.
RDI provides assistance in obtaining financing from
federal, state, and private sources. RDI purchases
land & constructs or renovates homes. If you dream
of owning your own home, the home ownership program
may help you realize your dream.

Learn how you can become the owner of a home built by RDI.
RDI is an Energy Star Homes program partner with all of
the houses built meeting strict guidelines for energy efficiency.
Grants from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC)
have allowed the installation of photovoltaic electrical
systems in most of the houses being built. RDI is also participating
in the LEED® for Homes pilot, a program of the U.S.
Green Building Council, to help establish broad national
green building standards.

requirements, how to get on the wait list, sources
of money to purchase an RDI house, the sweat equity
work, RDI houses and the Energy Star homes program.
